Terms of Stay

1. Enquiries and bookings

An enquiry through this website is not a booking. A booking is confirmed only when we send you written confirmation with your suite, dates and total price. A deposit may be requested to secure it.

2. Prices and payment

All rates are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise. Rates shown on the website are indicative “from” prices and vary by season and length of stay. The payment schedule and accepted payment methods are set out in your booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation and changes

• Cancel up to 14 days before arrival for a full refund.
• Within 14 days of arrival, a cancellation fee may apply; it will be stated in your booking confirmation.
• Helicopter and outdoor experiences depend on weather and safety decisions made by the operator; we will reschedule where we can.

4. Check-in, check-out and guests

Check-in and check-out times are stated in your booking confirmation. The number of guests must not exceed the capacity of the suite you booked. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

5. Care of the property and safety

Please use fireplaces, wood burners, fire pits and hot tubs as instructed by our team, and never leave them unattended. We may ask guests to leave, without refund, if their behaviour endangers people or the property.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Subject to those laws, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not reasonably foreseeable, or for events outside our control such as severe weather or road closures. Please arrange your own travel insurance.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
